Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will provide clinical leadership, direction, and oversight for Children’s Minnesota. The CMO is responsible for advancing clinical quality, patient safety, physician engagement, and continuous improvement across the health system. This leader will guide the development and implementation of systems and processes that improve the health of children, redesign the care experience, expand access and deliver value.
The CMO will serve as an active member of the executive leadership team, partnering with clinical and operational leaders to set and achieve strategic goals. The role requires an accomplished physician executive who can foster a culture of trust, accountability, and collaboration; drive meaningful transformation in clinical practice and organizational culture; and advocate for the needs of patients, families, and providers. The CMO will play a central role in shaping the future of pediatric care at Children’s Minnesota, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of clinical excellence, innovation, and community impact.
