Children's Health Care (Children's Minnesota) is excited to announce the CRNA Scholarship Program, part of our "Building a Stronger Future: Advancing Pediatric Care Through Workforce Development" initiative. This program offers financial awards of up to $40,000 for participants interested in a career in pediatric anesthesia at Children's Minnesota or within the broader workforce. 100% funding of this program is made possible by an $875,000 grant received by the US Department of Labor's Community Project Funding.
The CRNA scholarship program collaborates with key educational institutions to ensure the successful delivery of services, including the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis School of Anesthesia, and St. Mary's University of Minnesota.
As part of this opportunity we are offering contingent offers of employment with sign-on bonuses, with funding provided directly by Children's Minnesota. Please review the additional program details below.

- Candidates interested in pursuing a career in pediatric anesthesia at Children's Minnesota.
- Complete an application to be considered.
- Complete an interview with Talent Acquisition, CRNA Director, and CRNA staff.
- Proof of GPA GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Provide a minimum of one Clinical Preceptor references.
- Provide proof that you are in final one - two years of educational program.
- CRNA participants will not be expected to work while in the program.
- Children’s Minnesota will track if any classes need to be retaken (participants are allowed to retake one failed class; repeated failure results in removal from the program).
- These funds could be taxable if they are not applied towards qualified education expenses. Please consult your tax professional.
Key Timelines
We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis.
Applications for Fall Semester of 2025 must be received by September 1, 2025
Applications for Spring Semester of 2026 must be received by November 30, 2025.
Applications for Summer Semester of 2025 must be received by April 30, 2026.
Applications for Fall Semester of 2026 must be received by July 1, 2026
Applications for Spring Semester of 2027 must be received by November 30, 2026.
